Iran Press/ Iran news: In tweets on Friday, Nasser Kanaani said Biden's administration sold $206 billion of arms to the 142 countries and regions during its first fiscal year and exported weapons to 48 (57%) of 84 so-called autocracies of the world.
Kanaani noted that the US trumpets 'democratic values' on the one hand, and exports arms for war, massacre, and suppression, on the other hand.
He then cited the Intercept, saying: "Since the end of the Cold War, the US has been the largest arms seller in the world such that it has exported about 40% of the world's total arms in a year."
The Iranian MFA spokesman said that the judgment is up to the world's general public about the contradictions.
