Iran Press/ Middle East: Ehsan Khandozi, Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, who traveled to Saudi Arabia on Thursday heading an economic delegation, arrived at Jeddah Airport while receiving a warm welcome from the Saudi officials, Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) managers and members of the Iranian Consulate General.
Bilateral meetings with Saudi officials and attending and speaking at Islamic Development Bank meetings are among the most important goals of this trip.
This is the very first state visit of an official of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Saudi Arabia after the recent agreement between the two countries.
During the talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia in Beijing, the two countries agreed to resume diplomatic relations after 7 years of rupture on March 10, 2023.
