Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture predicted that 5 to 7 million people will visit Tehran's International Bookfair this year.

Iran PressIran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, May 3, Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili announced to reporters that the international bookfair as the greatest cultural event in the region will kick off next week. 

Esmaili said that 500 publishers will participate in the event through the virtual space, with about 3,000 domestic and foreign publishers who will participate in the exhibition, in person.   

He added that good subsidies have been allocated for the visitors to buy books.
