Tehran (IP) - Iranian delegation entered Saudi Arabia to address the reopening of Tehran's diplomatic offices in the country.

Iran PressMiddle East: Mediated by China, Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran agreed to restore their relations after seven years of pause since 2016. 

On Wednesday, April 12, an Iranian technical delegation arrived in Saudi Arabia to reopen Tehran's Consulate General and Iran's mission in the Islamic Cooperation Organization in Jeddah.

The delegation entered Saudi Arabia as the Saudi Council of Ministers reviewed on Tuesday the latest developments about the implementation of the Tehran-Riyadh agreement. 

Earlier, the Director General of the Persian Gulf Department of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alireza Enayati, told Iran Press that a technical delegation from Tehran will leave for Riyadh this week.

It was on Saturday that a Saudi delegation came to Iran to review the mechanisms for the reopening of Riyadh's embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Mashhad, northeastern Iran.
