Tehran (IP) - On the fourth day of the 41st edition of Iran's Fajr International Film Festival, Pardis Mellat Cineplex premiered 'Chera Geryeh Nemikoni?' (Why Don't You Cry?).

Iran PressIran News: Alireza Motamedi directed the film with Reza Mohaghegh as the producer; Fereshteh Hosseini, Hanieh Tavasoli, Mani Haghighi, and Baran Kowsari have also played roles in the work.

'Chera Geryeh Nemikoni?' tells a social drama in which Alireza, the film's main character, loses his brother and cannot cry, so his friends decide to help him cry to ease the burden of his grief.

Still, 'Hook' (Hook) , and 'Bacheh Zerang' (Smart Kid) will be screened at Pardis Mellat Cineplex.

Attending the 'Chera Geryeh Nemikoni?' press briefing, the producer Reza Mohaghegh said: "No one can ban cinema and put it under sanction the at all."

The international film festival have been underway in Tehran since February (1-11, 2023) in two competitive sections and one non-competitive section.
