Tehran (IP) - A member of the Foreign and International Trade Commission of Iran's House of Industry, Mining and Trade announced the increase in foreign trade between Iran and Turkey.

Iran PressIran news: Seyyed Ruholah Latifi, a member of the Foreign and International Trade Commission of Iran's House of Industry, Mining and Commerce, said that from March 21 to December 31, 2022, more than 15.4 million tons of goods worth more than 11.5 billion dollars were traded between Iran and Turkey, which indicates a 35% growth in trade.

Latifi added: "Of this amount of non-oil trade, more than 12.6 million tons of goods worth $6.4 billion were Iran's exports to Turkey, and nearly 2.8 million tons of goods worth more than $4.6 billion were Iran's imports from Turkey, which shows that there has been a growth of 51% in exports and 18% in imports."

According to Latifi, the main export products of Iran to Turkey were mining, construction, and petrochemical products, fertilizers, aluminum, copper, metal, Iron, and agricultural products.
