Iran Press/ America: Iran's VP for Parliamentary Affairs Mohammad Hosseini who is in Brazil to attend the inauguration ceremony of Brazilian President Lula Da Silva met Saudi Arabian FM Faisal Bin Farhan.
Iran and Saudi Arabia have had five rounds of talks in Iraq, and both Tehran and Riyadh have expressed their desire to reestablish diplomatic relations.
Tehran-Riyadh ties got tarnished as the Saudi Embassy in Tehran was attacked on January 3, 2016, due to Saudi Arabia's execution of a dissident cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.
Iran's Mohammad Hosseini remembered the Saudi FM Faysal bin Farhan the necessity for the continuation of talks brokered under Iraq's initiative.
Bin Farhan, for his part, said that Riyadh was determined to discuss the existing concerns one by one to reach the desired outcome.

He said the mode of Tehran-Riyadh relations would impact the region.
Mohammad Hosseini arrived in Brasilia to take part in the inauguration ceremony of the country's new President Lola DaSilva and visited with the leaders of different countries to expand Iran's relations based on balanced diplomatic foreign policies.
He has so far meetings with the Brazilian presidents, as well as the presidents of Germany, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, and Surinam. Also, he met with El Salvador's Vice President, the Prime Minister of St. Vincent, the Vice President of Cuba, and the Foreign Ministers of Turkiye and Palestine.
Previously, In an Arabic tweet on Wednesday, Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated: "I participated in the Baghdad 2 conference in Jordan to emphasize our support for Iraq. On the sidelines of the meeting, an opportunity was also provided for a friendly conversation with some of my counterparts, including the foreign ministers of Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi minister informed me of his country's readiness to continue dialogue with Iran."
