Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the readiness of Saudi Arabia to continue talks with Iran.

Iran PressIran news: In an Arabic tweet on Wednesday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated: "I participated in the Baghdad 2 conference in Jordan to emphasize our support for Iraq. On the sidelines of the meeting, an opportunity was also provided for a friendly conversation with some of my counterparts, including the foreign ministers of Oman, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi minister informed me of his country's readiness to continue dialogue with Iran."

Iran's foreign minister had earlier said that Tehran was ready to return to normal relations with Riyadh and reopen embassies whenever Saudi Arabia is prepared.
