Iran Press/Africa: In Bauchi State, the Muslim Youth distributed the Christmas written message of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, at ECWA Church Yalwa. The leader of the Church, reverend father Sama'ila Boro, read the message in the Church.
In the message, Ayatollah Khamenei said, "I congratulate all Christians and Muslims, particularly our Christian compatriots, on the birth anniversary of His Majesty Jesus Christ, the great Prophet, as well as the commencement of the new Gregorian year."
Part of the message said, "The chosen prophet of God invited humankind to the path of God, which is the path to mankind's prosperity and happiness; he warned them against pursuing their evil desires, contaminating the purity of the human soul into depravity, cruelty, and wantonness. Tyrannical, corrupt, and aggressive powers who were the slaves of wealth and powers, strained and slandered this divine messenger and intended to take his life; then God embraced him safely and securely."
Ayatollah Khamenei said that power of the same type does not want to tolerate those who submit to God, follow God's religion, and are followers of truth. To obey Jesus Christ (as), one needs to support truth and abhor the powers that are against the truth. It is hoped that Christians and Muslims worldwide will incorporate this excellent teaching of Jesus Christ (as) into their lives and actions.
The Christian communities express their happiness in the effort of the Shi'a youth in uniting the country.
