Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that the terrorist incident of Shahcheragh in Shiraz disgraced the hypocritical and black-hearted Americans and said: "We are lagging behind in the issues related to the events and history of the Islamic Revolution and the crimes of the enemies in terms of media activities."

Iran PressIran News: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Tuesday morning, in a meeting with the families of the martyrs of the terrorist incident in the holy shrine of Shahcheragh, called this tragic incident a cause for grief in the hearts but lasting in the history of Iran, emphasizing the disgrace of the Americans as the masterminds and creators of ISIS.

On October 26, a heavily-armed terrorist assaulted the well-known shrine just before the evening prayers,  killing 15 pilgrims — including a lady and two children — and injuring at least 40 others.

"Cultural and artistic institutions should pay attention to this great incident like Ashura and other historical issues and pass it on to future generations," he noted.

Ayatollah Khamenei considered the assassination of pilgrims to be different from other terrorist incidents and cause a double disgrace for the enemy and said: "In addition to the murderers and traitors, the main supporters and creators of ISIS are also complicit in this crime. They are so liars, black-hearted, scandalous and hypocrites that they raise the flag of human rights in words, but in practice, they create dangerous terrorist groups."

The Leader recommended the cultural and media institutions to artistic productions regarding this incident and other historical cases and added: "We are lagging behind in media and propaganda work in matters related to the events and history of the Islamic Revolution and the crimes of the enemies, so that our young generation does not have much information about past events, including the crimes of MKOs."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized: "Explaining these facts is one of the duties of the activists of the artistic, media and publishing departments and all cultural institutions."
