Sarajevo (IP) - Iran's foreign minister says the Islamic Republic of Iran is against the war in Ukraine.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said that the joint commission on cooperation between the two countries would be held in the near future.

Referring to international developments, Iran's foreign minister stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is against the war in Ukraine.

Criticizing the double standards of the United States and some European countries in human rights, he said that he had discussed the issue with the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In answering a Bosnian journalist's question about the recent unrest in Iran, Amirabdollahian said that part of the unrest is people's demands, but we also face a large amount of foreign interference.

Iran's foreign minister stated that 68 Iranian policemen died in the recent riots, but the US still supports the rioters.

Bosnia seeks cooperation with Iran in energy

The Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina called for the expansion of relations between the two countries in a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart.

Bisera Turković, Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said in the presser in Sarajevo: Iran has always supported the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sarajevo appreciates Tehran.

Regarding the energy crisis, the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that Sarajevo is willing to cooperate with Iran in energy.

Talking about cooperation in tourism, Bisera Turković said: "There is a capacity to cooperate in tourism between Tehran and Sarajevo, and establishing a direct flight between Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be an important step."
