Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran has recognized the significance of nanotechnology like other pioneering countries and started its activities in line with the development of the technology. In this regard and as the first step, a Study Committee for Nanotechnology began its activities in 2001 in the country, and finally, INIC was established in 2003.
According to the Iran Press news agency, Mohammad Bagheri, one of the directors of INIC, said: The number of scientific articles in the field of nano has reached more than 12 thousand, and after China, America, and India, our country ranks fourth in the world in the field of scientific nano production.

"Also, by the end of 2021, 307 Iranian inventions in nano have been registered in America and Europe," Bagheri said.
Mehdi Kadkhodaei, the director of industrial promotion of INIC, introduced some of the samples of the products in the permanent exhibition to the visitors.
Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council's cooperation with the IranPress News Agency and various departments of IRIB world service, in order to introduce nanotechnology knowledge and products, was one of the topics that were discussed.
