IP - Mustafa (AS) Science and Technology Foundation will hold a scientific contest in order to expand the cooperation of the Muslim countries in science and technology in the 3rd edition of KANS competitions.

Iran PressIran news: The event is aimed at making a network of young researchers and scholars with a focus on the Islamic world's scientific community and young researchers as the future builders of the new Islamic civilization.

KANS contest proceeds with the search for the best technological solutions to the challenges the Islamic world is facing.

KANS scientific competition calls for young scholars, researchers, and innovators under 45 years of age to participate in this competition by submitting 3 to 5 minutes videos of their scientific and technological achievements or their solutions for challenges declared by international institutes.

Any scientific and technological achievement in the form of an idea, paper, book, prototype, MVP, or new product is acceptable. 

After two rounds of contests with the participation of over 1,000 researchers and innovators from 25 countries, this year the event will host young scientists with 6 areas including "electricity, electronics and robotics", "information and communication technology and artificial intelligence", "water, energy and environment", "health and medical equipment", "agriculture and food industries" and "mine and mining and industries." 

The participant can upload their works on https://kans.mstfdn.org/. 

In the next stage, the works are examined and the competent ones in each area will be selected to be judged. Then, the selected videos sent will be examined in order to select the best 4 plans and solutions in each area, totally 24 ones. 

The winners will be awarded in May 2023.
