Baghdad(IP)-The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad consulted with two Iraqi energy ministers regarding the implementation of energy projects in Iraq.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Iran Press, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, met with the Iraqi Oil Minister, Hayyan Abdul Ghani, on Thursday, and the two sides discussed the oil and gas cooperation between the two countries and the ways to develop this cooperation.

In this meeting, while explaining the capacities and capabilities of Iranian companies in the implementation of oil resource exploitation, drilling and seismography projects, the readiness of Iranian companies to participate in Iraqi oil and gas industry projects was emphasized.

 

On Wednesday, the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad met with the Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadhil, and the two sides discussed issues of common importance based on the interests of the two nations.

Iraq's Minister of Electricity said that the experience of Iranian companies' activities in Iraq's gas stations were successful and we are trying to expand this cooperation in the field of electricity supply.

The Minister of Electricity of Iraq added:"We have successful experiences of the activities of Iranian companies in Sadr and Al-Haydriya gas power plants, and we are looking for its development through joint cooperation in the field of electricity."

In this meeting, the two sides discussed issues of common importance, especially the ties and neighboring rights between the two countries.
