Iran Press/ Middle East: Cultural, scientific and academic cooperation between Iran and Iraq has made significant progress in recent years.
Statistics show that the largest number of Iraqi students studying abroad is in Iran.
Gholamreza Abazari, the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq in Baghdad, met today (Sunday) with Iraq's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naim Al-Aboudi, and discussed with the Iraqi side about cultural and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
In this meeting, improvement of the paths of scientific and cultural cooperation between the universities of the two countries were discussed and exchanged, especially in the field of new specializations in medicine and engineering, as well as joint scientific research.
