Tehran (IP)- The Iranian Minister of Economy siad that Tehran and Yeravan had agreed on boosting their trade volume up to $3 billion.

Iran PressIran news:  Ehsan Khandouzi, Minister of Economy, and Gagik Khachatryan, Minister of Finance of Armenia met on Tuesday here in Tehran.

In the meeting,  the two sides urged targeting $3 billion in annual trade, increasing the volume of goods exchange to 5 million tons, and also developing and facilitating financial, banking, commercial, and customs relations.

Iran's Minister said: I hope the target of 3 billion dollars of trade between the two countries, which was raised in the meeting between the presidents of the two countries, will be realized.

Referring to the 25% growth in the volume of economic exchanges between the two countries in 2021 compared to the previous year, Khachatryan added: According to the statistics of the 9 months of this year, it is expected that the two countries trade will grow by more than 40% this year.
