Sarajevo (IP) – The Iranian men's sitting volleyball team overpowered the Croatian team in the group stage of the Sarajevo World Sitting Volleyball Championship.

Iran PressEurope: The Iranian men's sitting volleyball team overpowered the Croatian team 3-0 on Sunday to continue their unbeaten way in the Sitting Volleyball World Championships in Sarajevo.

The men’s and women’s competitions started on Friday in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo and will run until November 11, and the first and second teams will be qualified to participate in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

The Iranian men's sitting volleyball team has won seven championships, one runner-up, and three-thirds in the World Volleyball Championships, and the teams of Bosnia and the Netherlands are in second and third place.

Also, the Iranian women's sitting volleyball team lost the match to the Canadian team in its third game. Previously, the Iranian women's sitting volleyball team lost against the US and Slovenia despite playing well.

The Iranian women's sitting volleyball team stood in ninth place in the previous round of the World Sitting Volleyball Championships.
