Iran Press/ Asia: The 2022 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup competitions were held in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the participation of Turkiye, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Azerbaijan's Republic, and top wrestlers from other parts of the world.
The Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team managed to win over the team of Turkiye 6-4 in the first step.
Then, in the second step, they overcame the team of Kyrgyzstan 8-2 and ascended to the finals of the competition.
In the finals, Iran's team overcame the Republic of Azerbaijan's team and won the world championship title.
