Iran Press/ Asia: Paintings, handicrafts and traditional arts of Iranian and Tajik artists were displayed in the exhibition of Khujand and the citizens of this beautiful city of Tajikistan welcomed the exhibition.
The performance of traditional Iranian music and the display of ancient sports are among the other important programs of the Iranian cultural week in the three cities of Dushanbe, Khujand and Bokhtar of Tajikistan.
Mohammad Ali Kiani, Director General of Cultural Cooperation of Iran's Islamic Culture and Communications Organization, said that over 80 Iranian artists have participated in different sections of music, handicrafts and traditional arts in the cultural week of Iran in Tajikistan.
The Director General of Cultural Cooperation of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization of Iran emphasized that holding the cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tajikistan shows the good level of relations between the two countries.
The cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran was opened in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in the presence of Mohammed Mehdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran.
