Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Economy says the decrease in Iran's liquidity reflects the resolution of Iran's government to control and reduce inflation.

Iran PressIran News: Ehsan Khandouzi said the liquidity in September 2022 has decreased to 35.3%, while last year's liquidity was 40.5%. "This statistic shows the government's serious will to control and reduce inflation," he added.

Speaking at his presser on Tuesday, Khandouzi emphasized that these serve as proof that the government's move and will to control inflation is not just limited to words, and it is followed up seriously through all the effective tools.

Iran's Minister of Economy said that the reduction of the unemployment rate and the economic growth in Iran's industry and mining sector were among the achievements of President Ebrahim Raisi's administration.

Referring to the recent riots, he added: "Since the recent riots have caused serious damage to some internet businesses, the government will support these businesses and the Minister of Communications will talk about the government's support package for these businesses tonight."
