Vienna (IP) – World's chess grandmaster, Magnus Carlsen, couldn't overpower the Iranian grandmaster chess player and tied versus Parham Maghsoodlou in the European Chess Club Cup 2022.

Iran PressEurope: The 37th European Chess Club Cup and the 26th European Women's Club Cup wrapped up yesterday in Mayrhofen, Austria.

These competitions were held in seven rounds with the participation of 502 chess players and 70 European teams.

Parham Maghsoodlou, Mohammad Amin Tabatabaei, Pouya Idni, and Mobina Ali-Nassab were Iranian chess players who participated in the tournament with European teams.

During the 37th European Chess Club Cup, the world's chess grandmaster, Magnus Carlsen, tied versus Iranian grandmaster chess player Parham Maghsoodlou.

Carlsen and Maghsoodlou faced each other in the seventh round of the 37th European Chess Club Cup.
