Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister criticized the Danish government over the ignorance of ensuring the security of the Iranian Embassy in Copenhagen.

Iran PressIran News: In a telephone conversation with the Ambassador of Iran to Copenhagen Afsaneh Nadipour on Friday, Hossei Amir-Abdollahian followed up the status quo after the attacker's intrusion of the Iranian embassy.

Amir-Abdollahian said: "It is regrettable that in the heart of Europe, such an attack is carried out on a lady who is an ambassador with diplomatic immunity, and the police do not arrive on time."

Afsaneh Nadipour, for her part, explained that after the attacker intruded the embassy premises, while he was carrying a cold weapon in his hand, he began intimidation and destroying of the cars parked there.

She expressed regret and said that despite the formal aforementioned warnings communicated to the Danish police, they arrive in the place with delay.
