Morocco (IP) – Iranian Javelin thrower managed to clinch a gold medal in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix Morocco.

Iran PressAfrica: Saeid Afrooz grabbed the gold medal for Iran, throwing his javelin at 38.43 meters.

Morocco hosts a World Para Athletics Grand Prix for the first time in history as the competition lands in Marrakech; the city received 359 athletes from 41 countries from 15 to 17 September.

About 120 athletics medal events are underway at the Grand Stadium de Marrakech, with plenty of local stars to watch.

Earlier in the 2020 Paralympic Games, Saeid Afrooz had won a gold medal for Iran.
