Iran Press / Middle East: Every year, Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) 's arrival, many Muslims and followers of other divine religions from different countries reach Karbala and Bayn al-Haramayn.
Bayn al-Haramayn, also transliterated as Bainul Haramain, is the area between the Imam Hossein Shrine and al-Abbas Shrine, which is a distance of 378 meters. It is said to be where the fighting in the Battle of Karbala took place.
These days, the roads leading to Karbala witness many Arbaeen Hosseini (AS) pilgrims moving towards Karbala.
The provision of conditions for the safe presence of Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) pilgrims in Iraq and Karbala is owed to the bravery of the resistance martyrs, especially the martyred Lt General Qassem Soleimani, the senior commander of the resistance front.
The Arbaeen march has become a symbol of the unity of the Islamic Ummah. This vast public gathering has come to the fore because of the real struggle of Martyr Soleimani and his comrades against terrorism and the defeat of ISIS in Iraq.
Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has said that those early trips have now reached 20 million Arbaeen pilgrims on foot.
