Iran PressIran News: Every year, on the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shia Imam, Hussein ibn Ali, millions of people from across the world march to the city of Karbala in Iraq, where the holy shrine of the Imam is located.

In the national caravan, groups of Sunni scholars and elites from different provinces of Iran spontaneously went to the Iraqi border to attend the Arbaeen rituals.

The caravan consists of a group of Sunnis from Sistan and Baluchistan, Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, Golestan, Kurdistan, and West Azerbaijan.

In addition to initiating Najaf and Karbala, attending Al-Kadhimiya, meeting with Sunni scholars, Friday prayer leaders, and initiation to the Kufa Mosque are among the programs of the caravan.

The enthusiasm of the Ahlul -Bait lovers in this caravan to reach the destination, attend the march, and be among the Shia and Sunni brothers is remarkable in the great caravan.
