Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister said Wednesday that his ministry would never cross Iran's red lines on the nuclear issue.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the comment at a meeting with members of the Assembly of Experts of Iran, briefing them on the latest political and international developments, and foreign policy achievements by President Ebrahim Raisi’s administration since taking office.  

He stated that President Raisi is emphasizing guidelines set by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on nullifying sanctions in parallel with keeping on talks; he underlined that the Foreign Ministry is taking this path with seriousness.

The Iranian foreign minister also told the assembly that all attempts by the United States had failed to create new political and security orders in the region without the presence of the Islamic Republic and pointed out that no party could ignore Iran’s key position and the role it plays.

He hailed the status of Iran in terms of security and stability, progress and national sovereignty, saying that the great status had been achieved in light of wise leadership.

Amir-Abdollahian referred to the economy and noted that Iran is on a promising trend considering the administration’s stance that is based on a balanced foreign policy focusing on broadening ties with neighboring and Asian countries, and not tying the economy with the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPoA) and talks to remove the anti-Iran sanctions.
