Moscow (IP)- Iran's first commercial center was launched in Moscow to facilitate trade and support Iranian and Russian artisans and business people.

Iran PressEurope: Holding meetings of Iranian and Russian business people, concluding cooperation contracts, banking, insurance, and customs consulting, as well as legal support for Iranian and Russian business people and craftsmen, are among the other goals of establishing the center.

Bahman Abdollahi, head of the Iran Chamber of Cooperation, at the opening ceremony of the Iran Trade Center in Moscow on Tuesday, said that one of the legal duties of the Chamber of Cooperation is to help strengthen the economic sectors and the establishment of the center in Russia was done with the same goal.

The establishment of the center is a practical step towards achieving the 8 billion dollars of exchanges in the next two years, Alireza Peyman Pak, head of the Iran Trade Development Organization, says.

Kazem Jalali, Iran's ambassador in Moscow, also emphasized the need to diversify the export basket of Iranian commodities to Russia.

According to Dmitry Zubov, Chairman of the Council of the Central Union of Consumer Societies of Russia, establishing the center would bring positive results.
