Tehran (IP) - Iran's industry minister says 350 Russian economic activists will travel to Iran soon.

Iran PressIran News: Referring to the development of Iran's trade relations with other countries, including Russia, Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Reza Fatemi Amin said in a presser on Monday that 350 Russian economic activists will soon travel to Iran, which he called a unique event in the development of trade relations.

In an answer to the question of the Iran Press, he added that big things have happened in the foreign trade of President Ebrahim Raisi's administration. 

"In 1400 in the Iranian calendar (March 21, to March 20, 2022) compared to previous year, we had a 38% increase in exports. In the first four months of this year (1400), we experienced a 21% increase in exports compared to the same period last year (1399)."

Referring to the development of trade relations with Russia, the minister of industry said: "In July of this year, compared to July of last year, we had a 120% increase in exports to Russia."

According to Fatemi Amin, Iran's exports to Africa have increased by 100% this year compared to last year.

The industry minister further said: "The most important economic indicator is the amount of production, and in the first four months of this year, we experienced an increase in the production of most products compared to the same period last year. We had a 5.2% increase in crude steel, 20% in coal concentrate, 250% in passenger cars, 148% in trucks and tractors, and 9% in petrochemicals."
