Tehran (IP)- Tehran's policy is to increase the level of cooperation with Latin American countries, the president said in a meeting with the special envoy of the president and the minister of transportation of Venezuela.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with Ramon Blazquez, Special Envoy of the President and Minister of Transportation of Venezuela, on Tuesday, Ebrahim Raisi said Tehran-Caracas relations are expanding rapidly.

He added that Iran had been a friend of Venezuela during rainy days. We are ready to expand relations with Venezuela in all areas, especially in trade, energy, technology, science, and defense.

Ramon Blazquez, in his turn, expressed his satisfaction with the expanding level of Tehran-Caracas and emphasized the efforts of Caracas to increase the level of economic, commercial, transit, and political cooperation.

The special envoy of the president of Venezuela also pointed to Iran's technical and engineering capabilities and called for the expansion of interactions between the two countries in these field.The Minister of Transportation of Venezuela, who heads the Joint Commission for Iran-Venezuela Economic Cooperation, presented Nicolás Maduro's message to President Raisi.
