Moscow (IP) – Iranian Deputy Culture Minister said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic is ready to pave the grounds for cooperation between Iranian and Russian individuals active in the cultural sector.

Iran PressEurope:  Iran and Russia share strategic interests in bilateral fields, especially economic, military and cultural relations, as well as regional and international issues such as confronting American unilateralism, and this has been one of the main factors of close cooperation between the two sides in recent years.

Yaser Ahmadvand made the remark in a meeting with the head of the Russian Book Union in Moscow.

The Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, vice Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Yasei Ahmadvand, and Hossein Divsalar visited Iran’s stall at the 35th Moscow International Book Fair, which kicked off with the participation of Iran Book House and over 300 publishers.

The 35th Moscow International Book Fair is held on September 2-5.

Ahmadvand stated that book-selling is one of the fields that individuals from both countries could work on to exchange experiences.
