Iran Press/ Middle East: Al-Hashd al-Sha’abi (the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU)) forces managed to capture the ISIS element in the northern parts of Ramadi city.
An Iraqi security source said that the detained terrorist is considered one of the most important chieftains of the ISIS terror outfit, against whom there are numerous complaints. According to the source, several orders have also been issued regarding his arrest.
The source noted that the detainee had carried out numerous terrorist crimes during the period when ISIS had control over a large area of Anbar Province.
Iraqi security forces and PMU have arrested a large number of ISIS leaders and elements in various security operations in recent months.
