Moscow (IP) – Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said that Iran and Russia would develop cooperation in shipbuilding, aviation and automobile industries.

Iran PressEurope: Reza Fatemi-Amin made the remarks while speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Moscow.

The Iranian minister traveled to Russia to attend the MIMS Automobility Moscow 2022 and ink economic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).

He stated that Iran-Russia relations have been growing, and this growth is more evident in the past year and has entered a new phase.

Fatemi-Amin referred to the start of exporting gas turbines and technological products to Russia and announced the possibility of signing an economic MoU in Russia.

He noted that several issues would be pursued during his trip, the most important of which is the start of collaboration in the field of shipbuilding, aviation and automotive industries.

He also pointed to the attendance of 50 Iranian companies in MIMS Automobility Moscow 2022, saying that the grounds have been paved for commencing cooperation between Iranian and Russian companies that are active in this field.

The Iranian minister pointed out that two Iranian cars, 'Tara' and 'Shahin', would be showcased at the event.
