Tehran (IP)- Nine people were killed, 16 people were missing, and 12 were injured in flood last night in Firozkoh, the governor of Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: Mohsen Mansouri, the governor of Tehran, referring to the flood in Firozkoh city and the damage caused, added: "The flood on Thursday night in the Hableh district of Firozkoh river in the villages of Zarin Dasht, Mazandaran, and Atashan left nine dead, 16 missing and 12 injured."

The flood on Thursday morning in the Imamzadeh Dawood area of Tehran has also left eight dead and 19 missing until now.

3 people killed in Chalus flood

Hossein Ali Mohammadi, head of the Mazandaran Crisis Management Department, announced the death of three people in a flood yesterday in Chalus city, north of the country.

Also, according to him, the route of 10 villages around Chalus city is blocked, and Vaskol village is surrounded by flood, where three bodies have been found so far.

In the past one or two days, floods have killed some people and left others missing.

In a flood on Thursday night in Firozkoh city in Tehran province, nine people were killed, and 16 were missing.
