Iran PressIran News: Footages published on social networks show floodwaters roaring through the cities, towns, and villages, collecting debris along the way.

Flash floods also impacted other parts of the southeast province and damaged the highways, suburban roads, and rural roads, disrupting the traffic.

Iran's meteorology department had warned about possibly heavy seasonal rainfall across the country that is facing a decades-long drought blamed on climate change.
