Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs received the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, stressing boosting cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: Mojtaba Amani, the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amirabdollahian, on the eve of his departure to the mission.

In this meeting, Amir-Abdollahian stressed the expansion of the aspects of cooperation between Iran and Lebanon and reminded the necessity of addressing these strategic relations.

Amani, explaining his plans in Lebanon, mentioned cooperation with the government and all the different political groups and tastes of this country as one of his most important plans.

In this meeting, the importance of the Republic of Lebanon as a country that is in the first line of resistance against the Israeli regime was emphasized.
