Iran's navy has launched military exercises dubbed "Sustainable Security 1401" in the Caspian Sea, north of the country.

Iran PressIran News: Admiral Hamzeh Ali Kaviani, the Deputy Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that these exercises are held every year in the Navy, and added: 1401 Sustainable Security Maritime Exercise, with the participation of various surface and flying units of the Navy, including missile launchers, sea-based helicopters and UAVs and electronic warfare systems.

According to the Deputy Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in order to measure the performance of the systems, evaluate the employees and transfer experience from the old generation to the new in the Caspian Sea, ranges of rifle and ranger units of the Army-Navy, on three water, land and air levels is being operated.

Kaviani also called the Caspian sea "the sea of peace and friendship" among neighboring countries adding that Iran will never allow any country to disrupt the security of the sea.
