The CEO of the Pars Special Zone Organization and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Iran emphasized the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.

Iran PressIran news: Sekhawat Asadi in a meeting with Alberto Gonzalez Casals said: "South Pars region has 13 gas refineries with a production and sweetening capacity of roughly 700 million cubic meters of gas, alongside 22 petrochemical complexes."

Asadi added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has invested $150 billion in the South Pars region since 1997, and due to the appropriate infrastructure in the region, there are countless potentials ahead for private sector investors."

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Iran described the relations between the two countries as excellent, and said: "We expect economic relations to develop in line with the political relations between the two countries and Iran's progress, especially in the oil industry, is a good opportunity for cooperation."
