Iran Press/ Iran news: In the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus on Saturday morning, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the decrease in the number of cases and deaths due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and appreciated the efforts of medical staff over the past two years and their actions to protect lives.
The President said, "If today we see a different situation in terms of the coronavirus outbreak in our country than in some other countries around the world, it is thanks to God and the fruit of selfless sacrifice and effort of doctors, nurses, and health staff."
Raisi described the acceleration in the payment of salaries and demands of hospitals and medical staff as a practical manifestation of gratitude to the hard-working doctors and nurses of the country and instructed the Minister of Health to follow this issue seriously.

In another part of his speech, referring to the declining trend in the infection and loss of life due to coronavirus, the President emphasized, "The fact that the disease has decreased and in some days, thanks to God, we did not have a single death case, should not lead to assuming that there is a normal situation.
"Accordingly, Raisi called on the people to follow the health instructions in medical centers, busy public places, and vehicles, as in the past, to stabilize the current situation.
