Tehran(IP)- A trade delegation of the Tajik government headed by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies arrived in Tehran to discuss ways of bilateral cooperation and expand trade relations.

Iran PressIran news: Due to the good political interactions and relations between the two countries' officials, in the past two months, the trade volume between the two countries grew very well and increased by about $ 30 million.

The visit is in line with the 14th Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation meeting between Iran and Tajikistan.

Moreover, Iran and Tajikistan have decided to further develop bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical, and chemical sectors.

In addition to meeting with the Head of Iran Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Alireza Peyman-Pak, the delegation will also meet with officials of the Ministry of Energy, Oil, Transport, and Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
