The European Parliament voted to give Ukraine and Moldova EU candidate status “without delay.”

Iran PressEurope: The European Parliament has voted in favor of offering candidacy status to Ukraine at a two-day summit in Brussels.

The European Commission on Friday recommended that the war-ravaged country become a candidate to join the bloc — albeit on the understanding that it carries out a number of important reforms.

Russia says the EU is “manipulating” Ukraine with the possibility of membership.

Meanwhile, Russia hit Ukrainian army fuel tanks and military equipment near the southern city of Mykolaiv.

Also, Luhansk Governor Serhiy Haidai said Russian forces have taken two more villages around Severodonetsk.

Russia says its forces have surrounded Ukraine’s troops south of Lysychansk.
