Iran Press/ Iran news: The Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, and his accompanying delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday afternoon for a state visit at the official invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi to hold meetings with high-ranking Iranian officials.
The two presidents met and attended a press conference earlier on Saturday.
Maduro also met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, yesterday while President Raisi was in attendance.
Raisi and Maduro inked a 20-year partnership document to bolster Iran-Venezuela cooperation.
The Venezuelan delegation has been in Iran since Friday afternoon and visited different Iranian technological centers and factories to discuss broadening Tehran-Caracas ties.
