Tehran (IP)- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and a group of ministers and deputies visited the Pardis Technology Park on Monday.

Iran PressIran News: The President of Venezuela arrived in Tehran on Friday with a high-level delegation to sign a comprehensive document on 20-year cooperation in the political, cultural, tourism, and economic fields.

Nicolas Maduro then was welcomed by his Iranian counterpart, Ebrahim Raisi, and also had a special meeting with the Leader of the Islamic revolution,  Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to talk about the common political and economic interests of the Iranian and Venezuelan nations.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's visit was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Communications, Science and Technology, Transport and Tourism of Venezuela, Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology of Iran, and Mehdi Saffarinia, Head of the Pardis Technology Park.

After visiting the park, the Venezuelan president addressed his Iranian officials and said: "We are inspired by you for the establishment and developing technology parks and we are very interested in doing this in Venezuela with your help, support and encouragement."

 The Venezuelan delegation also visited Pars Online companies in IT, bio-fermentation in probiotics and pharmaceutical products, and Aria Teb Firooz in medical equipment.
