Tehran (IP) – Iranian and Venezuelan communications ministers discussed broadening cooperation in Tehran and agreed to expand bilateral relations in the Information technology (IT) sector.

Iran PressIran News: Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Isa Zare’pour, and his Venezuelan counterpart Freddy Alfred Nazareth held talks on Sunday evening.

The two sides underlined the importance of reaching an agreement on deepening ties, particularly in the IT field.

The Venezuelan minister, for his part, stated that Karakas attaches great importance to its cooperation with Iran.

He was surprised how Iran could achieve good successes under the most challenging foreign pressures and sanctions during the past four decades.

Freddy Alfred Nazareth further expressed his willingness to gain Iran’s experiences in technology.

Two days ago, President Ebrahim Raisi and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro inked a 20-year document on comprehensive strategic cooperation.

Maduro and his delegation arrived in Tehran on June 10 for a two-day visit to meet high-ranking Iranian officials.
