Tehran (IP) - The Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) said that adopting a knowledge-based approach was essential to produce high-tech products rapidly.

Iran PressIran News:  A Laser Port Technical Complex was opened on Thursday with the presence of the Head of Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami, and the Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari.

In the event, the activities of knowledge-based companies and startups in the complex were visited, and the challenges of these knowledge-based area activists were discussed.

Eslami stressed: "Given all the capacities available in the country, Iran must be on a knowledge-based path, so we can produce and exploit the advanced products of the day faster and become the hub of the region and the world through branding."

He said that the great powers and developed countries of the world created a security image of nuclear, laser, and photonic areas to keep others away from the technologies.

Nuclear scientists at Iran's Laser Science and Technology Center have been able to gain valuable achievements in high-power lasers, which has ranked Iran among the five most high-power laser manufacturers in the world.
