Qom (IP): The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that the Technology and Prosperity Funds support knowledge-based companies in Iran and provide them with facilities.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press in the city of Qom in Southern Tehran, Iran's Minister of Science Mohammad Ali Zolfigol stated about the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology's plan for the development of knowledge-based companies to employ people with brilliant ideas.

The Minister of Science, Research and Technology of Iran said in case of successful production by people with brilliant ideas on a laboratory scale, they will be introduced to Science and Technology Parks so that they can produce their products on a larger scale.

Zolfigol pointed out that there are more than 6,500 knowledge-based companies in Iran and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology is trying to provide the necessary conditions for good things to happen in terms of quantity and quality of knowledge-based companies.

Knowledge-based companies play an important role in increasing national production and meeting needs in various dimensions, and these companies, at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, imported and exported drugs and medical equipment needed to treat this deadly disease.

On Monday, Iranian Minister of Science, Research, and Technology Mohammad Ali Zolfigol visited the Qom University of Technology and other universities in the south of Tehran.
