Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, Ebraim Raisi on Monday in a joint press conference with his Tajik counterpart welcomed the Tajik President Emomali Rahmon as well as the accompanying delegation saying: "We have good relations with Tajikistan for various reasons due to its neighborhood and cultural, religious and linguistic and civilizational relations, especially after the victory of the Islamic Revolution."

He continued: "The visit I had at the beginning of the 13th administration at the invitation of the President of Tajikistan to attend the Shanghai Summit and a bilateral visit to this country was a turning point in the relations between the two countries."

The President  said: "Today, with the visit of the President of Tajikistan to Tehran and the signing of new agreements between the two countries, I have no doubt that a big step will be taken in relations."

"And we are determined, based on the dialogue between the two countries, to continue economic, political, cultural, trade relations and various fields of energy, tourism, mining and science and technology in such a way that both countries and the nation see better relations than before and now," added he.

Raisi noted: "We can turn these bilateral relations into good regional, global and international relations, and these relations between the two Muslim neighboring countries can be very promising for the two nations and the interests of the two countries."
