Tehran(IP) - 17 cooperation documents in various fields including political, economic, trade and tourism were signed between Iran and Tajikistan.

Iran PressIran News: Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon who arrived in Tehran on Sunday, was officially welcomed by President Ebrahim Raisi.

Senior officials of Iran and Tajikistan in the presence of Ebrahim Raisi and Emomali Rahmon signed 17 cooperation documents in the fields of politics, economy, trade, transportation, investment, new technologies, environment, sports, energy, judiciary, education, and research and tourism.

These documents were submitted by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Industry, Mines and Trade, Oil, Roads, and Urban Development, Energy, Economic Affairs and Finance, Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Justice, Sports, and Youth, Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, and Heads of Tehran Stock Exchange, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran and their Tajik counterparts were signed.

President Raisi had traveled to Dushanbe last year at the invitation of his Tajik counterpart to attend the Shanghai Summit, during which eight cooperation documents between Iran and Tajikistan were signed by the two countries officials.
