Tehran (IP) - Iranian cartoonist Ehsan Cheraghi won first place in the International Cartoon Competition in India.

Iran PressIran News: According to Iran Press News Agency on Monday, Ehsan Cheraghi, a prominent Iranian cartoonist and holder of several top titles in the Indian International Cartoon Competition, won the first place in the Indian Cartoon Festival with a political theme.

The International Maya Kamath Memorial Political Cartoon Festival is held in India annually. This year, the festival kicked off on August 21, 2021, to mark the 15th anniversary of the IIC India Cartoon Gallery and the Exhibition of Foreign Cartoons.

Cheraghi is one of the leading Iranian artists in the field of caricature and has always expressed his protest against the hegemonic rule of the world in the form of caricatures in international festivals.
