Muscat(IP)- Oman's foreign minister announced that his country would never enter the stage of normalization agreements with the Zionist regime.

Iran PressMiddle East: So far, under pressure from former US President Donald Trump to normalize relations between the Arab regimes and the Zionist regime, the four countries of the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and the Maghreb have formally agreed with Israel on the full normalization of diplomatic relations.

According to IranPress, Oman's Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi told the French newspaper, Le Figaro, on Sunday that his country was the first country in the Persian Gulf to support peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis since the signing of the Camp David Accords in 1979.

Al-Busaidi stressed that Muscat will never join the agreements on normalization of relations with the Zionist regime; because he prefers projects that support the Palestinian people.

The Omani foreign minister also said that any agreement should be based on the strategy of forming "two states" and lead to a final, lasting, and just solution to the Palestinian issue.

The Omani foreign minister added that the United States was changing the arrangement of its forces in West Asia and would not leave the region.

The normalization of relations between some Arab countries and the Israeli regime is taking place at a time when, according to statistics, the regime martyred more than 45,000 Palestinians from 1967 to 2018 and injured and displaced tens of thousands.
