Tehran (IP)- Iranian foreign minister, during a phone talk, with his Indian counterpart said Iran attaches special importance to relations with India.

Iran PressIran News: The two top diplomats discussed Iran-India's bilateral ties and several regional and international issues.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian described Iran-India's cooperation in the direction of comprehensive development and their consultations on regional and international issues as indicators of growing relations.

Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, for his part, referred to the excellent level of relations between the two countries of Iran and India, expressing hope that cooperation and ties will be developed and promoted in various fields.

He also invited his Iranian counterpart to travel to India for a meeting and close consultation with high-ranking officials of his country.
